Part Time Cleaning Job - Sioux Falls (8 pm-11 pm approx.) 

Evening Janitorial Work- Part-Time

What: Janitorial Cleaning on contracts in Sioux Falls or Brandon: Dusting, Trash removal and restroom restocking

When: Monday through Friday 8 pm- 11 pm start times Can be flexible on the number of work days- applicants will have to work Friday evenings. Would consider MWF or T, Th Fr schedules

  • This position is part-time, evening hours. No—it is not Monday through Friday 9-5 pm, nor is it going to change to 9-5 two weeks after you start!

1.) Must be able to come to work regularly. Peddle your bike-- hire an Uber... drive your own car ... or even ride a Pony. How you get here is up to you.

2.) Come to work and don't run off after a week never to be seen again. We then feel obligated to worry about you and must decide if you have been kidnapped or spontaneously combusted. We don't want to be worried about you when a simple call or text that says-- "Nope. I decided I hate vacuums and shall never return" or "Turns out I like my new boss better than you." will stop us from worrying about you.

3.) Must be willing to empty some trash cans, clean some restrooms, and vacuum some floors. It's all on a checklist so easy to do!

4.) Must be willing to check in and out of work so we know you are there.... and thanks to the world of direct deposit-- you get paid!

5.) Have a smile on your face-- or at least on the inside. Just in case you see someone, you don't want them to think you're a grouch!

Cleaning Education Mentor Position (Part Time Evenings)

Cleaning Education Coordinator

Are you a teacher at heart who loves to share your knowledge and skills with others? Do you have a knack for cleaning and making things shine? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our training and employee mentorship position at Optimal Prime Cleaning Services.

Optimal Prime Cleaning Services is a leading provider of high-quality commercial cleaning services for various facilities in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We are looking for a talented and passionate trainer and mentor to join our team and help us train and support our new and existing employees.

But this is not a desk job! As a trainer, you will also be cleaning and working in the field on a regular basis, alongside our cleaners, or as a fill-in when needed.

As a trainer, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Teach and mentor new employees on how to use our equipment, supplies, our digital employee app and timekeeping system.
  • Share your expertise and best practices on how to clean efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to improve the performance and quality of our cleaners.
  • Work with a diverse and dynamic team of people with various learning styles.

You’ll be more than a teacher, you’ll be a doer! As a trainer, you will also be:

  • Cleaning and working in the field on a regular basis, alongside our cleaners or as a fill-in shifts when needed.
  • Demonstrating your skills and techniques using a Demonstrate, Do and Review technique of training.
  • Coaching staff on how to overcome challenges and solve problems on the spot.
  • Being a role model and a team player who leads by example.

The hours are evenings, usually starting around 7:00 pm. Some of the work may be fill in/relief work for cleaners who have days off or vacations. This is an approximately 15-20 hour a week position with a pay range starting at $17 an hour. Raises and bonuses will be available after the training period based upon performance metrics. .

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and cleaning knowledge.
  • Willingness to flexible, and one who can react to changes in plans! (We *try* not to but life happens sometimes!)
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Ability to pass a background check for theft or felony charges.
  • A cell phone with data plan to be able to use our apps.
